Meet the Founder I'm Ayanna Campbell, the founder of Your Natural Alternative. I have an intense passion and love for formulating natural skincare products as it gives me great pleasure to be able to lift people's mood, boost their confidence and make them happy. The Beginning Your Natural Alternative unofficially dates back to 2015 when my skincare formulating journey began. This was born as a result of desperation to find an urgent natural solution for my two year old son eczema. Doctors kept prescribing steroid creams which have lasting side effects. Furthermore, they often times bleached his skin so we knew we had to discontinue its use. I started researching natural remedies to soothe his eczema & watched thousands (literally) of YouTube videos and did a few short courses on formulating skincare products. I then purchased some simple equipment, raw materials and made my very own natural creams, soaps even my own dishwashing liquid and laundry soap. The day I realized that my concoctions were helping my son's eczema, was the day I found renewed purpose and I've been making natural skin care products since. I must also mention that this new found passion came about when I was at a low point in my life mentally and with the encouragement and support of my husband I found this new skill and have made it into a business since 2019. So what’s next? YNA's adventure continues and as we forge ahead, we hope you’ll always be a part of our journey!
